Thanksgiving

Hard to believe that Thanksgiving is already over and the Christmas season is in full swing. We had a nice Thanksgiving with both of our families and enjoyed 2 great meals! The Motley's gathered at my aunt and uncle's house and then we headed over to the Garlich's for round 2. It was strange without Ben (he is at Bible school in England) and Kaylie was also missing (she was at her other grandma's in Wichita). At Andy's family's house, we got to see his grandparents and 2 sets of aunts/uncles/cousins and celebrate Christmas with them as well. Mason had a great time playing with his cousins and Brody slept most of the day away:)

We spent most of the weekend getting our house ready for Christmas - mainly this means cleaning and reorganizing so that we can actually get the Christmas stuff out! Mason is very excited about our Christmas tree and although he does not want much to do with Santa, we are so excited to experience Christmas through his eyes this year. Andy and I have both found ourselves almost giddy thinking about his face on Christmas morning when he sees his new train table and train set (that we found on Craig's List!) and all the other goodies!

We went to Bass Pro Shop on Saturday because they were doing free pictures with Santa and other activities for kids. Mason didn't want to go anywhere near him so Brody was the only one to sit on Santa's lap this year.

Last night we were able to go to Andy's work Christmas Party. It was a nice evening of great food and fellowship. Thanks to Kim for watching the boys for us!
