Brody and the terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day(s)

Poor Brody woke up Saturday night/Sunday morning with a high fever and in pain - he woke up Sunday morning and was just not himself. To make a long story short, he endured 7 hours at After Hours Pediatrics/Children's Mercy on Sunday and another 3+ hours at Children's Mercy on Monday. In all, he had 3 catheters (come to find out the After Hours place doesn't know how to do catheters), an xray, strep test, and 2 enemas. He is still not doing too great - very crabby and still having lots of pain and discomfort. He also has sores in his mouth/throat that make it painful for him to eat/drink so he is not wanting to do much of that. He has been sleeping very well at night which I am so thankful for. Please keep him in your prayers - its amazing what not-pooping will do to a little guy! Thanks to my dad and Kim and Ed and Susan for helping out with Mason! He had the time of his life!

Here are some pics of him at the hospital - in his little gown and the next day waiting for the enema to take effect (sorry if this is too much for some of you!) I feel a little guilty for smiling in these pics, but didn't want a pic of 2 miserable people!
