"The best things in life are nearest: Breath in your nostrils, light in your eyes, flowers at your feet, duties at your hand, the path of right just before you. Then do not grasp at the stars, but do life's plain, common work as it comes, certain that daily duties and daily bread are the sweetest things in life." ~Robert Louis Stevenson
We have had such a fun weekend - actually the last 2 have been pretty great! We went to the Circus and the Old Settlers Parade last weekend and then yesterday we went to the Hot Air Balloon festival in Leawood and today we went to "Touch a Truck". I have to say, I loved the circus just as much, if not more, than Mason:) The Old Settlers Parade has become a tradition for us and we love that Papa and Sue Sue have come along the past 2 years. We liked the Gardner Hot Air Balloon thing much better than the one this weekend - way more organized and not as many people. "Touch a Truck" exceeded our expectations and was SO much fun, especially for Mason. He was able to sit in pretty much every type of truck there is and got all kinds of freebies. It is so great to take advantage of the free activities our town has to offer! Here are some pics of our adventures!
