Bowling, 50th Birthday, and the Zoo!

We have had a busy week! We were planning to go to the zoo last Thursday and Mason was brought to tears when we woke up to rain, so we improvised and visited Kidscape at the Johnson County Museum followed by bowling! It was Mason's first time and he loved it. Then, over the weekend, Kim turned 50 and we had a party for her. Mason made her a card and was very excited to give it to her. We finally made it to the zoo yesterday and it was a great day. Perfect weather and despite the hundreds of kids there on field trip, we were able to see the entire zoo before making it home for some naps.
